How to build a successful jewellery brand online

So you want to learn the secrets of building a successful jewelry brand online?

Klarity London wasn't always predominately online based or a personalized Jewellery service. We originated from a brick and mortar shopfront.  Spending over 13 years building a brand and a place hundreds of clients would be able to visit every month. We were based in London's Jewellery quarter known as Hatton garden, some call it the 'belly of the beast.' Super competitive and full of amazing jewelers in the area. As a lifestyle change and business adaption, we decided to downscale and invest in the marketing and quality of diamonds and jewelry. Now without the 6 figure business rent and rates, we are able to do this whilst having a lot more control over our schedules ( no more walk-ins) and still have a balanced family life.

However, the move from offline to online is like learning another language. At first, it was a minefield almost, we had all the resources, dabbled in online marketing but as you know it's not easy, especially with high ticket items. I can say there is simply no one out there that will tell you how or what they've done, and I know you can all relate. Let's be frank, this is a highly competitive market and we offer an emotion-based product and service.

Thank god I had the pleasure of getting to know Tracy and Robin. Coming from a similar background and going through the same journey they were able to help us design the business we wanted.

...and this is what we did.

Firstly we researched different platforms which were affordable and easy to use without any advanced tech knowledge needed to build the online store.

After weeks of testing and research we found that Shopify was the best platform suited for us. The main reasons why we chose Shopify was really easy, they did everything! Plus it was all in one place!
